I became a health coach 4 years ago and have worked with many women who desire improved health.
But desire isn’t always enough. We have to take action!
Many have excuses for why they can’t start “now”:
- A Parent Died
- Going On Vacation
- Moving
- Daughter is Pregnant
- Wants to Wait Until After the Holidays
- Get Past Open Houses/Showers/Weddings
- “You don’t know my past.”
These are a few of the excuses I’ve heard as a health coach.
When are you going to be tired of being unhealthy?
There’s always going to be something going on, so just start. There will never be the perfect time.
Start Small
Don’t try to make a complete overhaul of your lifestyle habits all at once. That results in frustration, leading you to quit.
It takes time to change your mindset and to think new things.
It takes time to learn how to make new recipes and discover new foods.
Step out and grab ahold of what God has for you! He wants you healthy! He wants you to be prepared for the call He’s placed on your life! Don’t be held back from life because of tiredness, sluggishness, headaches or body aches.
Yes, it will take work. It will take determination. It will take time. But you know what?
You can do this!
One day at a time. One bite at a time. One walk around the block at a time.
No more excuses! Better health is waiting!
